Belton is a thriving town in southwestern Cass County, Missouri. It is also part of the metropolitan area known as the Kansas City metropolitan region. Belton, MO is a small community located just north of the western boundary of St. Louis. Belton is situated on a bluff that overlooks the west bank of the Mississippi River. It is home to the largest golf course in all of the state of Missouri. The Belton Country Club, located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, is one of the most popular courses located in the United States. The club was established in the early 1950s. It offers an eighteen-hole championship golf course that has been rated as the best in Missouri by Golf Digest. It was named a “Golf Digest Special Achievement” course in 2020. The golf clubs offer many different golfing packages. Some of them include lessons, rental equipment, tee times, and tee times on other days as well. The golf courses can be accessed through a free shuttle bus. Belton, MO is also home to a variety of shops for the consumer. In addition, there are two banks located within the city itself and there are also numerous restaurants serving fine cuisine in the area.
